Sayumi Ito began her career as a private secretary to a distinguished fashion designer serving the Japanese Imperial Household. At an atelier in Tokyo’s political district of Nagatacho, she provided bespoke service to spouses of high-ranking figures in government and business, including senior officials, corporate executives, and judiciary leaders.With hands-on experience in apparel production management, she transitioned into corporate branding and B2B sales. In 2007, she joined Graness Inc. as Director, where she led production oversight and client relations.
Over the years, she has worked directly with more than 1,000 corporate clients across diverse industries. In 2020, she was appointed President & CEO of the company.Her leadership continues to shape Graness as a trusted name in refined, ethically crafted corporate gifts—rooted in Japanese craftsmanship and guided by a commitment to timeless quality. - Executive Officer / CDO (Chief Design Officer): Himiko Ito

Himiko Ito serves as Executive Officer and Chief Design Officer at Graness Inc. She is involved in both product design and UX/CX design, overseeing the development of leather products as well as the design of internal systems. She studied design under a Japanese architect and has worked on collaborations with long-established companies such as Koransha, as well as with museums and symphony orchestras.
At graduate school, she conducted research on traditional Japanese companies in collaboration with a Swiss nonprofit organization, contributing to academic papers and educational materials. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Keio University’s Faculty of Environment and Information Studies, and earned her Master’s degree with distinction, graduating as second in her class, from Keio University’s Graduate School of Media and Governance. She has also served as a Senior Fellow at the Keio Research Institute at SFC. - Executive Officer: Yuki Murai

A graduate of Keio University’s Faculty of Environment and Information Studies, Yuki Murai began his career at Sony Corporation, where he was engaged in international marketing and supply chain management for PCs and medical devices. He later joined a wine trading company, overseeing sales and logistics for premium wines.
He specialized in building and operating high-quality logistics operations with partners across Europe, North America, and South America. Currently based in both New York and Azumino, he is involved in translation and research across the fields of fashion, culture, craftsmanship, and healthcare. He was appointed Executive Officer of Graness in 2021. - Senior Advisor / Executive Producer: Akihiko Ito

Akihiko Ito leads a product development consulting firm and has been involved in the creation of new products across the fields of fashion and industrial design. He is also engaged in the management of a construction company.
In 2024, he launched a business vision research initiative and was appointed Senior Advisor of GRANESS Inc. - Advisor: Toshihiko Iriyama

Toshihiko Iriyama began his career at Mitsubishi Corporation, where he held key positions in the Accounting Department II and Finance Department. He later served as President of MC Finance Corporation (on assignment), as well as General Manager of the Information Industry Management Department, Auditor, Executive Officer, and Advisor at Mitsubishi Corporation.
He has been active as a mentor at the Keio University SFC Research Institute and leads an executive program focused on owner-managed companies.
He has served as an Advisor to GRANESS Inc. since 2013.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Keio University.
