 　All processes are carried out in Japan. The leather used is sourced from tanneries in Japan and Europe.

 　Yes, we use only genuine leather. We upcycle hides that would otherwise be discarded, transforming them into high-quality materials through traditional techniques developed over many years. All materials are lead-free and phthalate-free, and are safe to use from both SDGs and sustainability perspectives.

 　Yes, as long as there are no structural issues, we can create them in your desired shape. If the design is structurally difficult to produce, we will suggest an alternative design. However, we do not replicate products from other companies or branded goods.

 　Orders can be placed starting from 500 units.

 　No, the mold fee is only charged the first time the mold is created. For reorders, you will only be charged for the product itself.

 　Yes, if you purchase the rights to the mold, you may set your own retail price and sell the product freely. However, please refrain from using GRANESS ID Card Holder molds for manufacturing in other companies or overseas factories.

 　Engraving can be placed in the center, lower right, or lower left of the back pocket. You are free to select your preferred position, but we generally recommend the center. Based on your request, our designer will provide a design proposal with a visual layout.

 　The standard maximum size is 38mm (height) × 60mm (width). If our in-house designer is creating the design, we will propose an appropriate size depending on the complexity of the logo and the amount of text you wish to include. If you require a larger engraving than this, please feel free to consult with us.

 　Yes, engraving is possible on all types of leather we offer.
We support all three engraving methods: blind embossing, gold foil stamping, and silver foil stamping.
However, due to the characteristics of the leather used in the Cojyo and Toscana series, blind embossing is recommended for these styles.

 　It depends on the size of the product, but for alphabet characters, we generally allow up to 20 characters. There is no character limit for Japanese text.

For alphabet engraving, each character is manually arranged using individual metal types before engraving. If you wish to engrave more than 20 characters, a custom engraving plate will be required, and the cost will be the same as for Japanese engraving.

For Japanese engraving, including kanji, hiragana, and katakana, we create a custom engraving plate from the beginning, as the character options are virtually limitless.

 　Yes, you can choose from three engraving styles: blind embossing, gold foil, or silver foil. However, for the Antique series (premium oil kip leather), only blind embossing is available due to the leather’s high oil content, which makes foil stamping prone to peeling. For all other leather types, you may freely choose from the three options.

 　We attach a label with each individual’s name to the gift box. As a general rule, the name on the label will match the engraving on the product. For example, if the name is engraved in Roman letters on the product, the label will also be in Roman letters. If the name is engraved in Japanese, the label will be in Japanese as well.

 　Yes, we consider it essential to ensure alignment with our clients. By reviewing a near life-size design preview in advance, you can feel confident and reassured while waiting for the delivery of your commemorative items.

 　Yes, we offer one round of design revisions free of charge. If the initial design preview differs from your expectations, you can request a revision at that stage. From the second revision onward, additional charges will apply. Fees vary depending on the extent of the changes, typically ranging from ¥3,000 to ¥15,000 (excluding tax) per revision.

 　If you wish to change the stitch color, you can choose from our standard selection of 36 colors.

 　No problem at all. Our in-house designer will create the design for you. You only need to decide on the desired color and the message you’d like to include.

 　Yes, it is possible. If you are a distributor or have an in-house design team, you may submit Adobe Illustrator (AI) data. Please observe the following requirements when submitting print-ready data:

• Convert all text and paths to outlines
• Include a 1mm bleed beyond the specified size
• Rasterize gradients at 450 dpi

 　Yes, if you are submitting fully prepared data. In the past, clients have included custom messages, company principles, photos, or caricatures. It is also possible to leave the back side blank.

 　Paper type is generally selected by our team. Standard options are as follows. Depending on the production and inspection schedule, multiple paper types may be used, but all are of high quality:

• For longer delivery schedules: Snow White / PP-coated / 200kg
• For short deadlines: OK Matte Post / No PP coating / 153kg

For 200 units, the unit price will increase by ¥45 (¥9,000 ÷ 200 units = ¥45).

 　Yes, we offer free sample loans. We can send samples and leather swatches to those in charge of commemorative gifts or novelties. These samples can be used for internal review or for proposals to your clients.
